Even if you’ve vaped before, there's a lot of variation in vape pen hardware and oils, so we wrote this handy guide to make it easier to use Intimacy Vape.
How to Use Intimacy Vape
Once you screw the cartridge onto the battery, you're ready to start! (The battery comes already charged.)
The vape is breath-activated — you don’t even need to push a button. Simply inhale for 1-3 seconds to receive a tasty cloud of minty, CBD-rich vapor. (The logo on the tip of the battery will light up while you inhale. If it blinks and goes dark it may be time to recharge the battery.)
Every body is unique. The vape’s ease of use allows you to determine the dosage that’s right for you, and your initial satisfactory dose could range from one puff to several. Experiment to find the dose you like best.
How Not To Cough
Some users find hot vapor irritating. Longer inhales produce hotter vapor, so start with a short, 1-second puff followed by a good breath of fresh, cooling air.
We recommend puffing with the muscles of your mouth & tongue (instead of pulling directly into your lungs). Once you have a mouthful of vapor, open your mouth and inhale. This way the vapor has a moment to mix with air and cool down, and you’ll have better control over how much vapor you get.
If the inhale feels a little tight — like you're sucking a thick milkshake through a straw — try unscrewing the cartridge from the battery just a quarter turn. This should improve airflow.
Be sure to let the vape pen cool off for a few moments between puffs. Repeated, long puffs over a short time period will heat up the cartridge, which can boil off the tasty aromatics and eventually change the flavor of the vapor.
Using Intimacy Multi-Botanical Vaporizer with CBD Safely
If you have a medical condition or take pharmaceutical drugs, please consult your physician before use, since CBD can alter how your body processes medications.
Don’t use Intimacy Vape if you’re allergic to any of its ingredients. If you’re not sure, ask your doctor.
CBD may temporarily decrease blood pressure, so if your blood pressure is already low, you might experience light-headedness. Drowsiness and dry mouth may also occur for some people (though we haven't received any reports of this).
CBD is an adaptogen — meaning its effects can vary depending on how you are currently feeling. If you are underslept, for example, CBD can help you get to sleep — but if you’re well-rested then CBD can actually energize you. Be aware of your current state when using Intimacy Vape, and track your responses.
Storage & Care
We chose to use glass & ceramic components instead of plastic for purity reasons. This means Intimacy Multi-Botanical Vaporizer with CBD is durable — but not indestructible. Don’t drop it!
Keep out of reach of pets and children.
It's ok to leave your vape pen lying on its side, but don't leave it in a hot car or direct sun for too long — the oil can heat up and might leak a little bit.
Crystals in Your Cartridge?
Due to the high levels of CBD in Intimacy Vape, it's possible for some of the CBD to crystallize — appearing like clear shards clinging to the inside walls of the cartridge. You can still use the vape but we recommend two things:
- Contact customer service to let them know. (We are tracking this in order to improve future batches.)
- Gently warm your cartridge (without the battery attached) by leaving it in a sunny window or placing in a waterproof baggie inside a mug of hot water. This should warm the oil, and dissolve the CBD. Once Intimacy Vape is flowing again, reattach to the battery and take a few puffs to redistribute the oil into the cartridge's heating element.
How long will Intimacy Multi-Botanical Vaporizer with CBD last?
We haven't tested how many puffs till the pen runs dry, but in our team's own personal use, the carts have lasted from several weeks to a month or two, depending on how frequently they're used. Some of us puff on Intimacy Vape many times throughout the day, while others enjoy it just a few times a week.
After several consecutive puffs of the vape, you may see tiny air bubbles appear in the oil near the bottom of the cartridge. These bubbles are approximately how much oil you consumed.
