Abstract
Poor sexual health and low sexual desire can be attributed to many factors, including physical, psychological, relationship and lifestyle factors. Poor sexual health can negatively affect overall well-being, and therefore Foria has developed a range of consumer products to increase sexual desire, satisfaction, and comfort for women. This study tested consumer perception of three Foria products; Intimacy Melts with CBD, Awaken Arousal oil with CBD, and Intimacy breast oil with Organic Botanicals. Participants used each product for three uses on separate occasions and completed questionnaires at baseline and end line. Foria Awaken Arousal Oil, Intimacy Melts, and Intimacy Breast Oil are all highly regarded and recommended amongst users. Each product also effectively improved the perception of the user's sexual health, comfort, pleasure, orgasms, and arousal, amongst other parameters that could contribute to a good sex life and overall well-being.
Results
3.1 Intimacy Melts are overwhelmingly reported to increase pleasure and comfort during penetration, leading to increased sexual pleasure overall. Participants used Intimacy Melts on three separate occasions, before intercourse or masturbation, and then completed a questionnaire to assess changes in pleasure and comfort during penetration, arousal, sexual pleasure, and other important sexual health parameters. The percentage of participants reporting each response from the 5-point Likert Scale is reported in Table 1. The ‘strongly agree’ and ‘agree’ responses were combined into a single ‘combined agree’ outcome to evaluate the overall agreement that the test product improved the evaluated sexual health parameters. Across all 17 questions, an average (mean) of 83.4% of participants ‘combined agree’ that Intimacy Melts improves a range of sexual outcomes. Of note, 94.9% ‘combined agree’ increased internal glide during penetration, correlating with 92.3% reporting increased pleasure during penetration. This is associated with 89.7% reporting improved sexual experience following Intimacy Melts use. The product was highly regarded by users, with 84.6% of participants stating that they would continue using the product and would recommend it to a friend or family member.
A range of sexual concerns were evaluated at baseline and endline to evaluate any statistical changes in participants' perceptions of these issues. The textual Likert data was transformed into numerical values of 1-5, with 5 representing the most beneficial response (i.e., “strongly disagree” response to “I struggle to activate relaxation during sex”) and 1 representing the least favorable/worse outcome (strongly agree). There was a statistically significant improvement in participants' ability to achieve relaxation during sex following Intimacy Melt use (P<0.05) (Table 2). While 4 out of 5 of the remaining questions did show a modest improvement from baseline, these changes were non-significant.
3.2 Awaken Arousal Oil is overwhelmingly reported by participants to promote libido, increase orgasms, and enhance sexual pleasure. After three uses of Awaken Arousal Oil, participants reported how the product affected their libido,
orgasms, and sexual pleasure (Table 3). Across all 21 questions, an average (mean) of 85.5% of participants ‘combined agreed’ that Awaken Arousal Oil improved a range of sexual outcomes. Of note, 100% of participants reported that the product enhanced their pleasure and sexual experience. 86.5% of
participants reported a ‘combined agree’ response that Awaken Arousal Oil activated their libido. Regarding improvements to orgasms, 91.9% reported they could reach an orgasm while using the product, 78.4% reported orgasms were reached easier, and 75.7% reported orgasms were more intense when using the product.
The product was highly regarded by users, with 94.6% of participants stating that they would continue using the product and would recommend it to a friend or family member. A range of sexual concerns were evaluated at baseline and endline to evaluate any statistical changes in participants' perceptions of these
issues. No statistical difference in these concerns was observed (Table 4).
3.3 Intimacy Breast Oil is overwhelmingly reported by participants to improve the
tenderness, suppleness and nourishment of their breasts After three uses of Intimacy Breast Oil, participants reported how the product affected the tenderness and suppleness of their breasts and feeling of improved breast skin nourishment (Table 5). Across all 11 questions, an average (mean) of 76.4% of participants ‘combined agreed’ that Intimacy Breast Oil improved a range of breast outcomes. Notably, 94.6% of participants reported that the product made their breast skin feel more nourished and softer, while 91.9% reported an increased connection with their breasts.
The product was highly regarded by users, with 91.9% of participants stating they would continue using it. 83.8% said they would recommend the product to a friend or family. A range of breast concerns were evaluated at baseline and endline to evaluate any statistical changes in participants' perceptions of these issues. No statistical difference in these concerns was observed between the time points (Table 6).
