Awaken 101

Awaken is an all-natural arousal oil formulated to work with your body, supporting female sexual pleasure, comfort, and access to orgasm.

Awaken is not a lube — although some have called it a "pre-lube". It's a unique topical, designed to be applied before sexual intimacy.

You may want to supplement Awaken with an additional lubricant, like our Sex Oil with CBD. If you do, make sure to allow a few minutes for Awaken’s natural botanicals to work their magic first. This is a great time for leisurely foreplay.

Thanks to our proprietary extract and a double-steeping process (where more of the compound is pulled from the plant), the Kava in Awaken with Botanicals absorbs rapidly to create potent arousing effects. Paired with the synergistic organic botanicals of the original Awaken, this powerful combination gently heightens arousal, sensation, and sexual pleasure.

 

How To Use Awaken

1. Apply - Apply liberally to the clitoris, inner labia, and inside the vagina
2. Massage - Gently massage to the applied area
3. Absorb - Allow the botanicals to absorb & work their magic
4. Experiment - Awaken starts to take effect 5-30 min after application, depending on the user. Experiment and see what works for your body.

 

Condoms? Use Non-Latex with Awaken.

Because Awaken is oil-based and can degrade latex and poly-isoprene, we recommend choosing oil-safe barriers like polyurethane or nitrile condoms for protection from STIs and pregnancy (or lambskin for prevention of pregnancy but not STIs).

Several major condom brands offer polyurethane condoms. Just be sure they're "poly-urethane" NOT "poly-isoprene."

Awaken is happily compatible with silicone, glass, stainless steel and other non-latex/non-plastic toys.

Allergies or Other Sensitivities? Go Slow.

While Awaken does not contain any synthetic compounds, petrochemicals, parabens, fragrances or additives, it does contain potent all-natural botanical extracts and oils.

Make sure you or your partner aren't allergic to any of the ingredients. (If you're unsure, you can do a patch test on the inside of your elbow.)

 

Other Health Concerns

People with active yeast infections or other irritating skin conditions of the genitals, including razor burn, should refrain from using Awaken until the condition is resolved.
